Welcome to UnWind with Elizabeth

Therapeutic Massage

The goal of UnWind is to create a lasting relationship with the client as we work together towards wellness in a relaxing atmosphere. I provide professional, relaxing therapeutic massage services to my clients resulting in a variety of health benefits for the mind and body. I specialize in pain relief by relaxing the soft tissue that is in hypertonic (tight) state. I use a gentle release technique that allows the muscle to "UnWind" from this painful state. If you are interested in gentle, effective pain relief, I invite you to contact me today and experience for yourself the benefits of natural, therapeutic massage.

Therapeutic Services

UnWind Massage

During this popular massage I incorporate all of my knowledge to give the client a relaxing, rejuvenating, and therapeutic massage. I tailor the massage to what the client's body is communicating to me. Styles that I include most regularly are Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, positional release technique, and a little bit of Reiki.

Clinical Massage

This targets areas of your body that are experiencing a limited range of motion or pain associated with movement or lack of movement. Pain is your brain telling you there is something wrong and not functioning correctly. The release techniques Positional Release Technique and Trigger Point bring the muscle tissue back to a state of comfort allowing the soft tissue to move freely and without pain or discomfort.

Sports Massage

For the athletes preparing for an event or recovering from an event, this type of massage includes long medium strokes to promote fresh blood flow into the muscles. This helps muscles to heal and recover from training which gives the athlete the optimal performance edge to reach their goals.

Reiki uses a technique commonly called palm or hands-on healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer universal energy (reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese: ki) through the palms, which allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. This is great for finding balance in your life and for healing both body and mind.
